Who can use Sanabil

A Sanabil account belongs to an adult or an older teenager: you must be at least 15 years old to create one.

Children do not hold accounts and never sign in. Instead you create child profiles, which hold only a display name and an age band, so that a story can be pitched at the right level for the child hearing it.

Your account

You can sign in with Google, Facebook, Apple, or an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping that sign-in method secure, and for what happens under your account.

We may suspend an account used to generate content that breaks these terms, or used in a way that harms other people or the service itself.

Stories and credits

Stories are generated on request and saved to your library. You may read them, keep them, and share them within your family. They are for personal, non-commercial family use.

• Credits are consumed on generation. A story draws from your balance at the moment it is created.
• Credits are tied to your account. They cannot be transferred to anyone else or exchanged for money.
• Subscriptions carry their own terms. Where credits come with a subscription, that subscription's terms apply alongside these.

Acceptable use

Sanabil exists to make children's stories. Do not use it to generate content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, or otherwise harmful, and do not attempt to bypass the safeguards that keep generated stories age-appropriate.

Ending your agreement

You can close your account at any time from Settings, then Delete Account, in the app. Deletion removes your stories, library, and child profiles, and it is irreversible. Unused credits are not refunded when an account is closed.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Sanabil after that point means the updated terms apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
