Deleting your data

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest route, and the one we recommend. It needs no request and no waiting on us.

• Open Sanabil and sign in to the account you want to remove.
• Settings. Open Settings from your account screen.
• Delete Account. Choose Delete Account and confirm.

Deleting the Sanabil app from your device does not delete your account. Use the steps above.

If you can no longer sign in

Email privacy@sanabil.ae from the address on the account, or tell us which sign-in method you used — Google, Facebook, Apple, or email. We will verify that the request is yours and delete the account for you within 30 days.

What gets removed

• Your account. Including the sign-in identity linked to it, such as the identifier we received from Google, Facebook, or Apple.
• Your stories. Every story you generated, together with your library and favourites.
• Child profiles. All of them, with their display names and age bands.
• Your profile. The name and picture shown on your account.

What we keep, and why

We retain a minimal record that a legal agreement was accepted, and the transaction records that accounting and tax law require us to hold. These are kept separately from your account, are not used to identify you as a user of the service, and are held only for as long as the law requires.

How long it takes

Your sessions end immediately, so you are signed out everywhere the moment you confirm. Deletion itself completes within 30 days.

Deletion is irreversible. Deleted stories cannot be restored, and unused story credits are not refunded.
